Well known scientists/speakers from different disciplines of Plant Pathology (Bacteriology, Mycology, Nematology, Virology, Molecular Plant Pathology, Integrated management of plant diseases, Seed pathology etc) gathered in 8th National Conference of Pakistan Phytopathological Society. The conference helped the participants to understand plant pathological problems.
Conference was very productive and valuable regarding knowledge sharing about plant pathological problems and their management because the knowledge delivered by the resource persons was new to most of the participants.
The question answer sessions of the conference were helpful to create understanding about problem. Over all it was very learning and informative for all participants.
Results of the impact Assessment:
8th National Conference of Pakistan Phytopathological Society led young scientists to work in proper direction for diagnosis of pathological problem in plants caused by different pathogens and their management.
Conference provided a forum to share their experiences and ideas to meet options and challenges for disease management. The ultimate outcome was to opt sustainable and integrated management practices.
