The Pakistan Phytopathological Society is the premier society dedicated to high-quality, innovative plant pathology research. PPS was established in 1983 as first platform in the country for those interested in the subject. Since then we are working to popularise the science of Plant Pathology in this region. Since its existence PPS successfully organized eight national and 2 international conferences.
Change in climate of the world is also affecting the crop plants. It will also influence the severity and distribution of plant diseases and several minor diseases may become a potential threat to crop production. The 3rd International Conference of Pakistan Phytopathological Society will address the emerging challenges faced by the crop plants with special reference to affect of change in climate on plant diseases.
