Photo & Artwork Competition

Pakistan Phytopathological Society is bringing first photo & art competition in plant pathology research during its 8th International Conference. The competition will enable plant pathology students to showcase the best photo or artwork with creative expressions to illustrate the fascination of research in plant pathology. The topic of the competition is “The best photo & artwork in plant pathology research”

Eligibility

Entries should be submitted by the plant pathology students (individual or group) enrolled in public or private sector universities recognized by Higher Education Commission. Undergraduate student participation is especially encouraged.

Unique entries including photography, illustrations, digital imaging, and artistic work will be considered for the competition. Entries illustrating relevant topic should only be submitted in the digital format (JPEG/PDF format printable in 20cm x 30cm format at a minimum of 300 dpi)

Each group/ individual participant can submit up to a maximum of 3 entries for this competition.

Judging

Entries will be assessed by the jury members selected by Pakistan Phytopathological Society during the conference and certificates will be presented to the winners.

Copyright and Disclosure

Pakistan Phytopathological Society reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any entry that does not comply with the following requirements, even after it is submitted for competition;

  • You are the sole owner/ author/ creator of the work submitted for the competition.
  • You have the right to make this work available to the competition.
  • The work does not contain any infringing, false, misleading, defamatory, and profane content.
  • The work does not intrude on copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights.
  • The work does not violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.

License

PPS recognizes entrants retain full copyright ownership of their work however, it may be used by PPS in any format and entrants grant PPS with an irrevocable perpetual, non-exclusive license to use it in the context of its activities. It is entrant’s responsibility for protecting their work against misuse by any third party. The entrant can add a watermark to the work submitted to the competition.
